This studio portrait project was born from the desire to give new expressive weight to light: not just to add depth, volume, life, or character to the frame, but to channel emotion into visual aesthetics.

Colored lighting interacts with bold, vivid, and at times aggressive makeup—until the light itself becomes part of the makeup.
