A restaurant that fuses the bold flavors of traditional Roman dishes with the richness of broader Italian cuisine—adding a touch of originality.
My collaboration with Simo.Restaurant, in Stradella (Pavia, Italy), began in late 2018 with the production of a photo shoot and a video for the new menu. The project then evolved into a second shoot and the creation of a full-length video focused exclusively on the restaurant’s pizza offerings.
This project was particularly exciting for me, as I found in the client’s aesthetic a mirror of the visual direction I wanted to explore at the time. I focused on high-contrast imagery with bold, saturated color tones.
For the video, I chose a more cinematic approach, with relaxed pacing and an almost epic narrative rhythm that made the process even more immersive and rewarding.
