A dangerous gang pulls off a bold robbery, but during a frantic escape, one of the thieves is forced to hide the loot—a suitcase full of diamonds—for fear of being caught.
When the others realize they’ve been betrayed, they unleash two ruthless hitmen to track him down and recover the goods—already en route to Venice.
Diamonds is a low-budget noir mid-length film produced as part of my directing exam at NABA in Milan. It was an ambitious project for the level of experience I had at the time, during my final year of university: the real challenge was tackling a production of that length and complexity with minimal budget, limited crew, and a demanding multi-city shoot across Milan, Piacenza, and Venice.
