Design in Town is a summer program conceived by Pasquale Volpe, president of the social promotion association Good Design.
It is aimed at design and graphic design students from all over Italy, who, over the course of about fifteen days, work on projects deeply rooted in the local territory.
A dedicated documentation and communication team was created to produce daily visual content—including video and photography—to tell the story of the program and its outcomes.
The third edition of Design in Town, held in Troia (Foggia, Italy) in 2016, was awarded the ADI Index prize in the category “Educational Projects” (design for social impact).
